Michele Carey, the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr the doctor, along with Thelma Henson, the housewife she was born Michele Lee Henson on February 26th, 1942in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America. While still a teenager she was a pro at the piano, and at just 13 she was crowned the winner of an international competition at Chicago Music Festival. Fort Collins High School is the place where she received her high school certificate in 1960. For her future career, she decided to relocate into Los Angeles for better opportunities.
